WHAT IS DIGITAL PAINTING?

Digital painting is a line of paintings that uses a computer application and a drawing tablet (Wacom) to create the artwork.

Instead of using brushes, oil paints, watercolors, etc., computers, drawing tables, and specialized pens will be used to paint. Just like hand drawing, digital painting is the same, the stages from sketching, creating blocks, and coloring… same as traditional painting, but the difference is that instead of using colors and brushes, the artist will use digital pens. In other words, the operations performed on the computer are the same as drawing by hand, the only difference is that the technological element will help the artist easily edit the drawing.

People who draw digitally are called digital artists and are well-trained in knowledge, artistic thinking as well as skills, when the artist creates a photo with a paintbrush but the tool is digital. And now digital painting is recognized as a drawing, not a design.
